Below, we explain step by step how to open a euro account on Wallbit.
1. Update the app
Before you begin, make sure you have the latest version of Wallbit installed:
Go to the Play Store or App Store.
Search for Wallbit and click “Update”.
2. Activate the euro account
Open the app.
Select “Add money”.
Select “Europe”.
Select “ACTIVATE” and follow the instructions to enable euro deposits.
3. Upload the required documentation
To verify your account and activate your IBAN, you need to upload two documents:
A. Utility bill
It must clearly show your full name and address.
It can be an electricity, gas, internet bill, etc.
B. Bank statement
It must be from the last 3 months.
It must be complete and clearly legible.
It must match the name and address registered in Wallbit.
4. Wait for validation
Your request will be automatically sent to the verification team.
The process may take up to 24 business hours.
5. Bank details generation
Once your account is approved, your bank details will be generated, including the account holder’s name, IBAN, and BIC.
These are the details you will need to share to receive euro deposits.
6. Exchange rate
You can calculate the exchange rate directly in the app using the “Calculate conversion” option. This is the most practical and up-to-date way to check the exchange rate at any given time.
